About Forex Plus Australia

FX advice from someone who knows your business. Since 2001.

Forex Plus Australia is a boutique FX advisory in Chatswood, NSW. Since 2001 we have helped Australian wholesale clients manage currency risk, from a $2M import programme to a $200M treasury policy.

We stay small on purpose. One advisor follows your exposure from policy through settlement, and the person who answers the phone knows what you said last quarter.

Why boutique

A relationship, not a dealing desk.

We are paid to get the hedge ratio right, which sometimes means telling you not to trade.

  • No portal to learn
  • No monthly minimum
  • No inactivity fee
  • One all-in rate, fixed when you confirm

Forex Plus was founded in 2001 and has held its Australian Financial Services Licence, AFSL 259763, since 2004. We are boutique by design: a small team of advisors, each the single point of contact for the importers, exporters, investors and corporate treasury teams they look after.

A bank FX desk is paid per transaction. The first conversation with us is about your policy, not a product, and many first discussions don't lead to a trade for months.

We work by phone and email, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm AEST. Write to [email protected]. Our margin is built into the all-in rate we quote.

What we stand for

Client-first approach

We work alongside finance and treasury teams to understand your cash flows and risk appetite, then build a disciplined FX policy to match.

Independent insights

Clear, jargon-free market commentary and scenario modelling, so you can make informed decisions and explain them to your board.

Execution excellence

Competitive all-in rates and post-trade support, with confirmations and contract notes in writing.

The advisors

The people who will manage your exposure.

Three advisors, each the single point of contact for their clients. Each one writes for our Resources & Insights library, so you can read how they think before you call.

How we work

What happens after you get in touch.

  1. We review your enquiry

We read every enquiry the same business day it arrives. An advisor then calls or emails you, usually within one business day, to understand your exposures.

  2. A policy conversation

Cash flows, margins, risk appetite and who signs off. No trade pitch and no obligation.

  3. A written framework

Hedge ratios by tenor, approved instruments and decision triggers, agreed in writing before anything is traded.

  4. Execute and report

Live quotes during market hours, written confirmations, and reporting on the cadence your board or auditor needs.
